The Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course

The Golf Course at Hacienda Pinilla offers one of the finest settings and challenges in a country renowned for its golf tradition. Created by acclaimed architect Mike Young, the layout conforms gracefully to the natural flow of the land, weaving through the tropical forest along the shores of the Pacific to provide an unparalleled blue water backdrop. This par 72 course, which can play up to 7,200 yards, was designed to enhance the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla, giving golfers an exceptional and immaculately conditioned place to enjoy a round with family and friends.

Certified Audubon Society

Our mission at Hacienda Pinilla is aligned with the mission of the National Audubon Society. To conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats to benefit humanity and the earth’s biological diversity. As a member of the National Audubon Society since 2001, we conserve water on the golf course and protect areas that are natural to Costa Rica’s wildlife sanctuary. This is a practice we use not only on the golf course, but throughout the entire Hacienda.
