At Hacienda Pinilla you’ll have no trouble discovering the mysteries of nature’s attractions. Rivers, lakes, beaches and wildlife refuges surround the residential development on a property which in itself is an extensive dry tropical forest, home to a wide variety of birds, insects, amphibeans, reptiles and mammals ranging from toucans and butterflies to frogs, turtles, iguanas and monkeys – all of which can be seen right there along 16 kilometers of picturesque nature trails.

In its continuing awareness of the importance of natural forest habitats for animals – as well as residents and visitors – Hacienda Pinilla has implemented over the past few years an aggressive reforestation program resulting in the planting of thousands of tree species native to the region.

Sixteen kilometers of scenic nature trails are just waiting to be explored. And right on the coast we have one of the best surfing spots in the world, as well as great deep-sea fishing. There’s also easy access to the natural wonders of many Costa Rican wildlife refuges and national parks.
