Costa Rica’s Announces New National Airline Coming in 2015

Traveling to from Costa Rica is increasingly growing easier with the addition of flights to Costa Rica on the rise and the new national airline – Air Costa Rica, which will be certified to begin operations in the country in the first half of 2015, as designated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

The initial destinations of the new Costa Rican airline will be Panama City, Managua, Nicaragua, and Miami.

Air Costa Rica is also in the process of approving documents, manuals and procedures. In addition, they have a group of pilots being trained in Miami, USA, and mechanics preparing for the opening in Panama, said Vargas. The operation site and training center have been reviewed and approved by Civil Aviation.
