Meet Hacienda Pinilla’s New Golf Course Superintendent Douglas Gonzalez

Hacienda Pinilla Golf Club is very pleased to introduce you to our new Golf Course Superintendent.  Douglas Gonzalez was born and raised in Grecia, Alajuela.  He left Costa Rica for the United States in 1995 to seek out more opportunities.  He started working in 1997 for Royce Brook Golf Course in Hillsborough, NJ.  While working there, he attended and graduated from the Golf Turf Management program at Rutgers University.  In 2002, he started as the Head Superintendent at The Club at Morgan Hill, a private facility located in Easton, PA.  Douglas brings 17 years of experience and knowledge in the golf industry.  We are very excited to have him on the team.
