Guidelines to Enjoy the Golf Course

In these days of social distancing and avoiding larger groups of people, many players and health officials believe golf is low risk in terms of contracting or spreading COVID-19.  To help prevent spreading the virus, we are fumigating, sanitizing carts and high traffic areas multiple times per day.  We have also installed alcoholic gel stations throughout the clubhouse for your use.  Here are some of the other protocols we have implemented for the safety of the player and the staff.

  • Golf Shop is closed.  Outside check-in.
  • Wash and sterilize your hands before and after the round.
  • Leave the flagstick in the hole.  Do not touch.
  • Do not pick up playing partner’s clubs.
  • Pass on the friendly post-round handshake.
  • All rakes have been removed from sand traps.  Smooth the sand with your feet.
  • Only one person per cart unless you live in the same household.
  • Pool noodles have been inserted in the cups to keep your ball from going into the hole.
  • Play gimme’s within two feet of the cup.
  • Water stations and ball washers have been removed.
  • Empty your own trash from golf carts.

With these new protocols, we believe we can remain open while providing a safe and fun experience for everyone.
