END OF THE YEAR EVENTS
We had several events at Hacienda Pinilla to celebrate the end of 2018 and to greet 2019.
Our Property Owners and Guests had the opportunity to enjoy numerous activities.
Hacienda Pinilla hosted the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Guanacaste for the fifth consecutive year.
The inaugural Moon Dance Party took place on December 31st and was a great time for all who attended. Guests who needed a plan for the whole family dined at the Beach Club to celebrate the New Year.
Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Guanacaste, the region’s most important fashion event, successfully concluded its fifth edition on December 28th at Hacienda Pinilla. Eight of the nation’s top designers introduced their latest summer clothing and accessory lines. Twenty-six top models graced the runway. Twenty-two female models, amongst them the first curve model in the Guanacaste Edition, and four male models strolled the catwalk. Three former Miss Costa Rica models brought the house to its feet.
The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is the only fashion event to be declared of cultural interest by the country’s President and the Ministry of Culture and Youth. The Fashion Show not only delighted attendants with its fashion but included six of the country’s most recognized musicians and DJ´s.
December 31st Dinner at the Beach Club
We had a full house at the Beach Club to greet the New Year. The staff held two seatings where guests delighted their senses with a four-course menu. Live music was the perfect background for the 6:30 p.m. seating, and a DJ entertained guests as they rang in the New Year. Guests who chose to dine at the 9:30 p.m. seating were toasted the New Year and watched the fireworks from the lounge area of the Beach Club.
