MOUNTAIN BIKE COMPETITION
MOUNTAIN BIKE COMPETITION: The Bike Park of Hacienda Pinilla was born approximately six years ago to offer visitors, residents, and guests the opportunity to practice the exciting sport of mountain biking while discovering and enjoying the natural landscapes in Hacienda Pinilla. The track has two main routes. The first measures 20 kilometers and offers beginner and intermediate riders unique and wonderful view of Guanacaste. The design is such that anyone can enjoy it. The other route, of 40 kilometers is intended for professionals or cyclists seeking a greater challenge and difficulty. Routes include various topographical features, varied natural landscapes, and different technical levels. Athletes can enjoy rolling hills, plains, grasslands, down hills, beach fronts, forests, slopes, and more. The track is open every day from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Holy Thursday, the 18th of April, we will host The 5th Edition of the Hacienda Pinilla Mountain Bike Competition. The main purpose of the event is the collection of funds to benefit the sports programs of the Technical College of 27 of April. The Organizing Committee joins the staff of Hacienda Pinilla, the authorities of the school, and the owners, Annette and Javier Guardia and Arnaldo Garnier. Many important brands sponsor the event, including Toyota, JW Marriott, Hacienda Pinilla, and numerous others. Attendees can expect a well organized, high-quality competition, with great assistance. The race will travel through exceptional natural areas within Hacienda Pinilla. The competition is recreational and has positioned itself as one of the classics in the region. The riders return year after year bringing friends to join in on the fun. In addition to helping a good cause, participants enjoy an exceptional experience and the beautiful vistas of our beloved Guanacaste.
