More than a place to buy local, fresh produce, the Tamarindo Féria (Saturday Market) is an outstanding place to find all types of local Guanacaste and Costa Rican items. From artisans, bakers, plants, live music, animals and more, the Tamarindo Market is held every Saturday from 8am – 1pm. Located in the Alfaro Bus parking lot, next to El Pescador, you can drive in from the road to Langosta or even walk up along Tamarindo Beach.

The Tamarindo Feria has an organic fruit and vegetable vendor that stocks aromatic strawberries, colorful carrots, and an assortment of crisp dark leafy greens. Arrive early to discover the best selection of local Costa Rican goods.

You will also find an assortment of other foods, arts and great locally made gifts. Here are a few things to try at the Market in Tamarindo:
