The Robert August Surf & Turf Event Comes to Hacienda Pinilla in 2014

Each March, Guanacaste is swept with competition, contribution and celebration as the Robert August Surf & Turf Event is hosted along Costa Rica’s beautiful beaches and within the Hacienda Pinilla resort community. At the highly anticipated 2014 Costa Rica surfing event and golf tournament, sponsored by Hacienda Pinilla Real Estate, over 100 participants from around the world will enjoy surfing in Costa Rica on the waves of Avellanas and golfing at the world-renowned Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course. The Robert August Surf & Turf Competition is one of the year’s most exciting Costa Rica surfing and golf tournaments.

Benefiting CEPIA, a Costarican non-profit organization that works to raise funds for at risk and underprivileged children in Guanacaste, last year’s Robert August Surf & Turf Event raised $25,000 and this year the goals are even higher. CEPIA reaches out to over 800 Guanacaste children to promote culture, health, sports and education for children and teenagers from low-income families in the coastal communities of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Hacienda Pinilla Real Estate is proud to be a sponsor and host of this year’s surfing event.

Enjoy Excitement & Competition at Hacienda Pinilla During The 2014 Robert August Surf & Turf Event & Charity Challenge

From March 21st-24th participants and guests will enjoy the celebration of “The Endless Summer” 50th anniversary. Kicking off on Friday with registration, movie, and 60s Night at Witch’s Rock and continuing into Saturday with a World Class Golf Tournament at Hacienda Pinilla and Fashion Show by Azul Profundo at the Langosta Beach Club, this year is full of events that you will not want to miss. On Sunday, March 23rd, events continue with highly anticipated Costa Rica surfing event at Playa Avellanas, one of the most highly acclaimed performance venues for surfing in Costa Rica, and an awards ceremony at Witch’s Rock Surf Camp in Tamarindo.

This jam-packed weekend will be full of fun and excitement as Robert August, Hacienda Pinilla Real Estate, and all of the sponsors and participants team up to benefit CEPIA and the children of Guanacaste at this exciting annual event.
