Reforestation

For many years Hacienda Pinilla has been a leader on environmental management and eco-friendly practices in Costa Rica. Recently, we have planted more than 450 native trees on the rights of way between Golondrinas and Palma Real. The species include:  Caña Fistulas, Cocobolos, and Costar Rican Oaks. In the years to come, the new trees will improve the natural habitat for fauna and enhance the landscape for residents and visitors.
